The Syngenta Scholarship is open to 2nd year BSc or 1st year FdSc students studying at º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø who are interested in pursuing a career with Syngenta following graduation. Only students eligible to work in the UK should apply.

Please note: a placement year with Syngenta must be suitable for your course area. Should you require further clarification please discuss with your Placement Manager.

The Scholarship

Syngenta may award up to two scholarships and if awarded, the successful recipient(s) will receive:

• A significant contribution towards thier education of £4,500 in the year prior to placement.
• Employment with Syngenta during their placement year.

A condition of your scholarship is that you undertake your placement year with the sponsoring firm.

The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026.

This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview.

The decision of the Syngenta Scholarship Panel is FINAL.
