The CLA Charitable Trust Scholarship is open to 2nd Year BSc (Hons) students studying full-time on one of the following courses at º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø:
- Agriculture
- Agriculture with Livestock production
- Agriculture with Crop Production Science
- Agriculture with Farm Business Management
- Agriculture with Farm Technology
- Agribusiness Management
- Rural Enterprise and Land Management
- Rural Property Management
- Agriculture with Farm Technology
- Wildlife conservation and Ecology
The CLA Charitable Trust, in making these scholarships, is keen to support students, from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in the rural economy. We are looking for students who will bring fresh and innovative ideas and ultimately become leaders, tackling the challenges facing the industry.
This is a competitive award, evaluated on the merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview. Where there are two applicants of equal merit, preference will be given to the applicant from a background traditionally underrepresented in the rural economy.
Up to two scholarships valued at £3,000 each (£1,500 each for the academic years 2025-26 and 2027-28) may be awarded. The award will be paid for each year in two equal parts, half in February and the remaining balance in May. .
