The Professor Simon Blackmore Entry Scholarship is open to students with a confirmed offer to study a full-time FdEng or BEng Robotics, Automation and Mechatronic Engineering at º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø, Telford.
Professor Simon Blackmore was the first Professor of Agricultural Engineering at Harper Adams and the inaugural Director of the National Centre for Precision Farming and Head of Engineering until his retirement in 2016. His personal research aim was to improve Precision Agriculture by developing more intelligent machines and processes and through making crop production more efficient and sustainable. Following his death in 2024, this scholarship dedicated to his memory and is targeted at those sharing his passion for robotics.
If awarded, the successful recipient(s) will receive an award of £500.
