This scholarship, valued up to £2,000, is offered by Loxley, a specialist law firm advising on all aspects of property law, with a particular emphasis on rural land and agricultural businesses. The firm was created in response to the diverse needs of owners and occupiers of land and those working in the rural sector.
The opportunity is open to all 2nd & final year BSc students enrolled on a full-time Land and Property Management course or Agriculture with Farm Business Management at º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø. There will be no interviews for this scholarship and a decision will be made by the sponsor based on the submitted application, to include the answer to the following question, set by Loxley Solicitors.
In a document of no more than two A4 pages, give your answer to the following question:
“To what extent (if any) will the proposed changes to Agricultural Property Relief in April 2025 and in April 2026 encourage diversification of farming activity and succession planning in family businesses?”
