The Certis Belchim MSc Scholarship, valued at up to £2,500, may be awarded to up to two full-time students at º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø who are studying for a MSc in one of the following subject areas, and who will be completing research that is of direct interest to Certis Belchim.
- MSc in Integrated Pest, Weed & Disease Management
- MSc Entomology
- MSc Plant Pathology
- MSc Agroecology
Certis Belchim provides reliable and profitable crop protection strategies through their innovative products and expertise in IPM development and implementation. A leader in this field, their core focus remains developing innovative Biorational solutions for a variety of horticultural and arable field crops.
During this project, the student will have the opportunity to work on a:
- Literature review of allelopathic herbicidal compounds; or
- Screening of new bio-insecticide(s) on several species of aphids.
Note: Applicants must not be in receipt of any other sponsorship / scholarship which would state a conflict of interest
The Scholarship
The successful Scholarship recipient(s) will receive an award valued at up to £2,500 for one year only.
All of the above conditions must be fully met for an application to be considered.
The scholarship will be payable in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2024 and the balance in May 2024. Payment is conditional on the scholar remaining registered as a full time student at Harper Adams. They must pass all modules of study and submit at least one letter reporting on progress to the Development Trust prior to the receipt of their second payment.
