The Mays-Smith Scholarship is open to All 2nd Year BSc, Final Year BSc/BEng, Year 4 MEng or Final Year FdSc students enrolled in full-time education at the University, whose permanent home is in Berkshire.
(NB. the address provided must be one that you have resided at for at least the last three years). Important - Please note: records will be verified with those previously given to the University.
The successful scholarship recipient(s) will receive a one-off payment of up to £1,250. The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2026 and the balance in May 2026.
This is a competitive award and it will be evaluated on the merit of the submitted application, along with academic achievements to date and interview. The decision of the Mays-Smith Scholarship Panel is FINAL.
