Larry also received the Modern Nissan Dealer’s Choice Award, as chosen by Rick
Lewis of Modern Nissan and Patrick Germond of Nissan. We were very lucky to have
Patrick visiting on behalf of Nissan.
Peter Krause did a marvelous job with a fitting tribute to Jim Fitzgerald. Fitzy’s wife,
Mary Lou Fitzgerald, attended the Concours and was front and center during Peter’s
speech. Fittingly, Clive Scott won the Fitzy Award for 2007 with his great 1973 240Z.
This has been Clive’s baby for 25 years and he is proud of her. Clive finds his name in
illustrious company on the Big Fitzy Cup. Well done!
And last but not by no means least, Mark Ulrich won the BRE Cup Presented by
www.my350Z.com. Peter and Gayle Brock chose Mark’s yellow 1971 240Z as the
Datsun/Nissan most closely fitting the enthusiast characteristics of the original BRE
street and track cars. Mark has put a lot of time and sweat into his street-legal track car
and, in fact, spent Saturday evening with Shawn, Ted and Roddy swapping
transmissions so he could make the show on Sunday! The latest trophy to go on Mark’s
shelf is a deserved reward for his hard work.
